What is a Store Locator?
A map based Store Locator for your corporate website provides exposure for your stores on the Business Directories of all FindEngine™ Partners. Store Locators are suitable to chains and franchises that have over 20 stores or branches within Australia.
A store locator is a customised spatial system that allows a visitor to your corporate website to locate the stores that suits the visitor's location and service requirements. It presents a mini website located on the SISS21 mapping system for each outlet. Store Locators are centrally managed by you. Store Locator Find Page is accessed from your website. It is presented in your branding and corporate colours as an extension of your website. The Store Locator makes it easy for visitors to find information on the store or stores that are the most convenient; enriching the user experience for customers and providing very good exposure for your brand and your stores.

What is a Supplier Locator?
A Supplier Locator is a spatial system that allows you to locate your suppliers by location and type of product or service you require. You can add private company ranking attributes to each of your suppliers. These rankings are only available to your staff.
This powerful system uses Find Engine technology to show the suppliers close to your required location wherever it is in Australia. Locations in remote areas are easily identified by GPS.
The Locator Find Page is accessed from your website accessible only to your authorised staff. It is presented with your branding and corporate colours. A search presents dots on the mapping system that represent the suppliers that match the search criteria. The operator simply places the cursor over the dot on the map and the system presents an info box about that supplier.
The types of searches you can make is totally flexible to meet all your requirements - you can search for various types of products and services by the various ranking attributes you have entered.
FindEngine™ Supplier Locators are spatially searchable. This means that a user of your system can select search parameters that are important to the user. For example a user that is a builder can search for plumbing supplies by specifying his building site and searching within a distance of that site. Geographic Search Parameters
You can select from a range of search parameters to be used on your Locator:
" Radial search - enter the address (or spike the point) the user wishes to search from and the radius of the search
" Free Range search - use the interactive mapping system to define the search area
" Locality search - enter the street, suburb, postcode or State the user wishes to search in
The search options available to visitors can be customised by you to reflect any franchise arrangements.
Presentation of Search Results on Your Reseller Locator
Your clients are presented with a map with dots showing your Reseller's stores
Your Reseller Locator also presents a results list of the names of the resellers. Your client can highlight a reseller name in the list to light up the dot on the map to indicate the location of that store. Passing the cursor over a dot on the map brings up an information box containing the name, address and phone number of the store
What We Need From You
You can contact your resellers and give them information provided by us on how to be included in your Reseller Locator or you can provide us with a list of resellers in a spreadsheet format supplied by us and we can automatically enter them in your Reseller Locator
Special attention should be paid to key words to ensure maximum discovery of your resellers in conventional searches not originating from your website. This means that your resellers will be presented when a searcher requires your type of product. It is important that key words lists include reasonable misspellings of Brand names and plurals.
You can even specify UNSPSC codes in key words for your products.
Your FindAustralia representative is available to provide guidance in all processes or he can make all the arrangements necessary.
The system provides a username and password for you to obtain access to the system so you can add and remove resellers and keywords as you require in real time.
